What Sets Taylor Burton Company Apart?
We pride ourselves on paying close attention to detail and including some extras in our homes that add value to the owner. Examples of added value items are:

  1. Steel beams incorporated to add strength in floors and creating usable open space in basements.
  2. Placement of air ducts in walls rather than the floor where there is danger of water spills, such as in bathroom areas.
  3. The installation of carpeting on basement stairs.
  4. Rounding corners, where possible, to increase room size and add to the overall appearance.
  5. Extra care and craftsmanship in areas that you might never see but add quality and value to your home, such as creating a tight seal around windows, perfection in woodwork and trim, and not cutting corners on plumbing.

In all cases we attempt to produce a home that we are proud to show to even the most critical observer.

Taylor Burton Company, Inc. was founded in 1986, and has earned membership into the Master Builder & Master Remodeler programs. To hold these titles, a company must renew membership annually and have a reputation of providing exceptional quality and service which involves the following.

Taylor Burton has continued the family tradition by being active in the National Association of Home Builders, Home Builders of Alabama and Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders. Taylor has held virtually every office in the Birmingham Association and he has been named Home Builder of The Year by the Alabama Association. Co-owner Blake Pittman has six years experience in the building trade, has held numerous management positions in manufacturing and holds a degree in economics from UAB.
